Water Patrol provides patrol functions on the waterways of Union Parish. Water Patrol responds to emergency and non-emergency calls for service such as drownings, watercraft crashes, stranded boaters, and missing persons. Water Patrol also provides security at local events that involve our waterways, such as Lake D’Arbonne. Water Patrol also responds to other jurisdictions within the state and assists other agencies during natural disasters to provide search and rescue services.
